ListThe department for electro mobility from innogy SE received a funding approval and has now the capability to spur on their development of electromobil techniques. The funding approval enables innogy to expand the issue, to at least partly eliminate at least one obstacle on the way to electromobility. The issue of not enough nationwide supply to recharge. The focus is not only on a solution for private individuals, but also on a solution for semi public areas, such as shops or company cars, to boost electromobility. The discussions include topics like recharging and energy management. Two possibilities, for example, are photovoltaics and batteries.

ListInnogy has a big interested in boosting alternative energies to reduce the pollutant emissions, especially the CO2 emission. Recently new, clearer goals about pollutant emissions were discussed in Paris, which are not achievable without electromobility. Which is why innogy wants to help reduce the barriers against electromobility on the market. Primarily about the charging infrastructure in Germany. The federal government created a funding program for these kind of issues. The funding includes 300 Million Euro spaced out over three years, to help provide 15.000 charging stations. According to plan, there will be 5.000 fast charging stations and 10.000 normal charging stations. The number of charging stations is what innogy would like to provide, but is not set yet. Innogy thinks, now is he right time to invest into electro mobility, as the topic is widely discussed and car companies are coming up with an array of new, electro models until 2020.
